Hi there, I'm Jace! I'm a 55-pound bulldog mix with a coat of white and brown fur and a heart full of love. I'm as sweet as can be and my favorite pastime is snuggling up next to my favorite person for belly rubs and head scratches. I'm also a smart cookie! I've already mastered "sit," "down," and "leave it," and I'm always eager to learn more tricks, especially if there are treats involved – I'm a very motivated learner!
When it comes to playtime, I love my Kong stuffed with kibble or peanut butter, and I'm a big fan of bones and stuffed animals. Fetch is fun, though I'm not always the best at returning the ball! Tug of war is another favorite. I truly believe I would make an excellent best friend. I enjoy following my people around the house and just chilling with them. I'm a bit of a goober and don't quite realize how big I am, often trying to squeeze onto laps just to be close.
Ideal Home
I'm house-trained and crate-trained, and I walk beautifully on a leash. I would do best in a home where I can be your one-and-only canine companion, as I get nervous around other dogs, likely due to my past. I also need a home where my food is kept safe from any visiting feline friends, as I tend to guard my food.
Ongoing Health
My left eye socket will never fully fill in due to an old injury, but it doesn't affect my vision or my ability to be a cuddly lover! I've been neutered and vaccinated. I'm happy to report that I have completed my heartworm treatment.
Training & Support
I'm working on my food guarding, so a home that understands this and can manage my meals safely would be ideal.

Transportation
