Daisy Mae

Daisy Mae is a sweet girl who came to us after a one-time incident where she bit her owner in the face. Her family was understandably afraid, and we were her last hope to avoid euthanasia. In our care, Daisy has bonded with some of our volunteers and can be as sweet as pie. However, we can't fully trust her around people she knows, as she can become overstimulated and lose control. The original incident occurred during a stressful move when a delivery person arrived. Her owner tried to crate her, and Daisy reacted by resisting and jumping. We are committed to helping Daisy, even though we understand she may have a challenging time finding a forever home. For now, we are her family and will continue to support her progress. We are looking for exceptional families who have successfully managed dogs with similar needs in the past.

Ideal Home

Daisy needs to be the only pet in the home. While she was previously fine with children, due to the bite incident, she must be in an adult-only home.

Ongoing Health

Daisy is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Daisy can become overstimulated, which can lead to unpredictable behavior. Potential adopters must have experience with dogs who have similar behavioral challenges.
