Meet Judy Geller! This sweet girl has just arrived at ODHS and we're still learning all her amazing qualities. If you're looking for a canine companion, Judy might be the perfect fit for you!
Ideal Home
Judy would love a home where she can get to know her humans and settle in at her own pace.
Ongoing Health
Judy is heartworm positive. She will need to be treated with 28 days of doxycycline before receiving heartworm injections. The cost of this treatment will become your responsibility. ODHS recommends contacting a vet to get an estimate for this treatment before applying. You can learn more about heartworm at the American Heartworm Society: www.heartwormsociety.org.
Training & Support
We're still getting to know Judy, but we're excited to discover all her unique talents and quirks. We recommend reviewing the 3-3-3 rule for bringing a new dog home to help with the transition. You can find more information here: www.rescuedogs101.com/bringing-new-dog-home-3-3-3-rule/.
