Meet Sophia!

Sophia is an adorable, energetic puppy, likely a Whippet and Black Lab mix, weighing about 16 lbs at 4 months old. Our best guess is she'll grow to be around 35-40 lbs. She joined us from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky and was born around November 24, 2022. Sophia is a smart, quick learner who is very sociable, outgoing, and playful. She loves other dogs but can be a bit much for older, calmer pups.

Ideal Home

Sophia would thrive in an active home that can keep up with her puppy energy and is committed to her training. A fenced yard would be wonderful for her, and she'd likely do well with another younger or middle-aged dog. She's a bit too energetic for senior pets or people.

Ongoing Health

Sophia is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative, and is microchipped. Her spay surgery is included in her adoption fee.

Training & Support

Sophia is crate-trained and is currently working on her housebreaking. She’s a quick learner and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and consistent training.
