Charlie

Charlie is an energetic girl with a big heart, looking for a family to call her own! She's a playful and fun-loving pup who thrives with plenty of exercise and outdoor time. Charlie is learning recall and is loyal and attentive once her energy has been expended. She boasts a gorgeous coat with unique markings and is eager to learn, though she is still working on her training. Charlie has a bit of a backstory; she was on the euthanasia list at a local shelter after being returned three times because families weren't prepared for her high energy. Once she arrived at our shelter and was given the time she needed, she blossomed into the spirited girl she is today. While she still has moments of playful exuberance, like chasing squirrels or sprinting after a ball, with regular exercise and space to roam, she becomes calm, attentive, and responsive. She's even trusted to roam our property due to her recall abilities. Charlie isn't perfect yet and could use continued training, but she is incredibly smart, affectionate, and ready to thrive with the right person.
