Meet Veda! She's a perfectly playful puppy whose entire approach to life is, "Wait... we can play in that too?!" Mud puddles? Amazing. New dog friends? Incredible. Couch cuddles afterward? Best day ever. This girl is pure sunshine wrapped in velvet fur and giant mismatched ears. One ear stands straight up like she's trying to contact aliens, while the other flops dramatically to the side, making her ten times cuter. Combined with her soft puppy face and warm brown eyes, she genuinely looks like a cartoon character brought to life.
Veda is the kind of puppy who makes everything feel exciting. She doesn't just walk through life; she launches herself into it with joy. During her assessment, she discovered a flooded muddy yard and immediately decided it was the greatest place on earth. She was zooming through puddles, splashing, rolling around, and trying to convince every dog to join her muddy water party. She turned herself from a white puppy into a brown puppy and couldn't have been prouder.
Ideal Home
Veda would absolutely love an adventurous home. Hiking trails, beach days, camping trips, lake weekends, backyard sprinkler time, and long walks exploring new places are all on her wish list. She's the kind of dog who wants to experience life with her people. She is curious, playful, outgoing, and genuinely thrilled to be included. While she could do well in an apartment with an active family, she would thrive in a home where she gets to explore, play, and be involved in everyday life. Bonus points if there's water nearby! While she hasn't been extensively kid-tested, she was sweet and excited during a brief encounter with a child. Given she's a playful puppy who jumps when excited, we recommend older or dog-savvy children while she continues learning manners.
Ongoing Health
Veda is healthy and up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworms.
Training & Support
Veda is very treat-motivated, which will make training and continued growth a rewarding experience. She is currently learning manners and continues to work on polite greetings, especially when excited.

Transportation
Veda is currently in Texas and can be transported to various locations across the US and Canada. Our transport system ensures every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
