About Muppet

Meet Muppet! If you've been searching for a loyal sidekick, adventure buddy, and full-time best friend, Muppet might be the pup for you! This approximately 1-year-old, 60-pound bundle of joy is a handsome black and brown mix, possibly an Australian Kelpie or Doberman, who is bursting with personality, affection, and enthusiasm for life. Muppet is incredibly curious and wants to be involved in everything you do, from yard work to relaxing at home. He's a goofy boy at heart who loves giving kisses and thinks he's a lap dog despite his size. He's still learning his manners and can get excited, so a family committed to continuing his training would be ideal.

Ideal Home

Muppet would thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of walks, hikes, playtime, and mental enrichment. He loves water and might even enjoy dog sports! He enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely do well with a playful canine companion close to his size. Muppet also lives successfully with a cat and would do well with dog-savvy felines.

Ongoing Health

Muppet is a healthy boy with no specific health conditions mentioned.

Training & Support

Muppet is mostly house-trained and walks nicely on leash once he settles. He has no food aggression and willingly uses his crate. Like many young dogs, he can be mischievous if left unsupervised and may chew on things he shouldn't, so supervision and appropriate chew toys are important. He would benefit from continued training to help him refine his jumping and pawing behavior when excited.
