Merlin

Hi there! My name is Merlin, and I'm a sweet 6-year-old, 45 lb gentleman looking for a quiet and loving home. I can be a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'm incredibly affectionate and would love nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch with my head on your shoulder. My vision is a bit impaired, but with a little help to learn my surroundings, I navigate quite well and even enjoy my crate as a safe space. I get along famously with cats and dogs, and I think a canine companion would be wonderful for helping me build my confidence!

Ideal Home

A calm, routine-filled home with a patient and gentle soul. A securely fenced yard is a must, as I'm more comfortable with movement within a safe space than on a leash until I feel completely secure.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. I am also heartworm tested and on preventative.

Training & Support

I am crate trained and comfortable in my crate. I'm also working on my leash confidence.
