Ricky - A Sweet and Loyal Companion

Hello, world! It's me, Ricky. I'm a curious and affectionate little guy who loves giving kisses and getting belly rubs. I like to take my time when learning new things, like stairs, but once I get the hang of it, I'm a champ! I didn't have the best start in life. A kind couple found my siblings and me in a dumpster in Texas; someone had actually thrown us out with the trash! But the nice couple took us home and contacted Freedom Street Rescue so we could find loving forever homes. I know I'm not the prettiest puppy in pictures; I don't have colorful spots or a long, fluffy coat, but what I lack in flashy looks, I make up for with personality! I'm an affectionate and sweet puppy who wants nothing more than to be loved and cared for by a family I can call my own. I promise to give you years of love and loyalty in return! I'm a big fan of toys and I enjoy a good game of tug-of-war. I absolutely adore my foster mom! She says I'm a good boy who's friendly, talkative, playful, and gets along great with other dogs. She thinks I might be some type of terrier or lab mix. My estimated DOB is 3/30/2026, so I'm about 14 weeks old. I weigh 17 pounds right now, so I may grow to be a medium/large dog.

Ongoing Health

I'm microchipped and up to date on my shots. I'm too young to be neutered right now, so my new family will be responsible for having me fixed at the appropriate age.

Training & Support

I'm still learning new things like stairs, but I'm a champ once I get the hang of it! My foster mom says I'm a good boy.
