Willie

Willie is a sweet, shy boy who needs a patient family to help him blossom! He's grown up in the system and can be nervous around new people and new experiences, but he walks beautifully on a leash and is a friend to other dogs.

All adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, and a heartworm test.

Training & Support

Willie is a bit nervous around strangers and new things, so patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping him feel comfortable. He gets along well with other dogs, which can be a great source of support for him.

• All adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, and a heartworm test.
• All adoptions include a free 1 year membership to our 5-acre ARF Park.
• Adoption fees are $150 for dogs over 6 months old, $200 for large breed puppies under 6 months, and $250 for small breed puppies.
• Your application must include 3 references with phone numbers for processing.

Transporation

Willie is located at ARF. We do adopt out of state, but adopters must travel to ARF to meet the dog they are looking to adopt. Adopters must have an approved application before traveling. Small dogs eligible to fly in the cabin are permitted to fly, but we do not allow dogs to travel in the cargo area of a plane under any circumstances. Dogs can travel by personal vehicle, but we do not allow dogs to be transported "pony express style."
