Penny

Penny is an approximately 2-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing about 5 pounds. She came to us from animal control with a uniquely shaped leg due to an old injury. Our veterinary team monitored her closely and determined that the injury does not cause her any pain, so no surgical intervention was needed. She moves around comfortably and enjoys life just as she is. Penny is a sweet little girl who has quickly won over staff and volunteers. She goes out with our tiny dog group and does really well, showing herself to be playful and social with companions her size. She's a tiny, resilient sweetheart who's ready to bring joy and companionship to her new family.

Ideal Home

Penny does well with other dogs her size, and would likely enjoy a home with a canine companion.

Ongoing Health

Penny has a uniquely shaped leg due to an old injury, but it does not cause her any pain and she moves around comfortably.

Training & Support

Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether she is housebroken.
