Sammich

Sammich is a 4-month-old female mixed breed. She’s part sugar, part spice, and all heart. Sammich’s foster mom says, if she was a human teen, she would play softball. Who will offer Sammich a scholarship, OU or OSU? Will she be a Sooner or Cowgirl?

She is affectionate, playful, and eager to be your new best friend. She has a good appetite, but is not especially food focused. She seems to connect easily and wants to be close to her pack.

Sammich is friendly with everyone she’s met at her foster home; she’s working on respecting boundaries with the older resident dog. She is still learning not to teethe on people, but is easily redirected with toys and chews. In her foster home, she has not chewed on objects that she wasn’t supposed to.

Sammich is an energetic pup who loves to play fetch, work out her zoomies, and then crash at your feet when she’s worn out. She’s getting better on walks every day. She's working on house training. She has done very well in a crate and usually settles for the night. Sammich vocalizes briefly when she goes in the crate, but is otherwise mostly quiet.

Sammich is a hardy, loving girl who enjoys activity and interaction with her pack. Give her your attention, rub her belly, and throw her a ball or frisbee, and you will make her happy. She is a social pup through and through and she can’t wait to meet her forever family!
