Daisy

Meet Daisy, a sweet and energetic 1-year-old female dog with a heart full of potential! Daisy is a wonderful dog who has been working through some anxiety and resource guarding. Through extensive training, she's made great progress and is becoming a more relaxed and confident companion. She enjoys plenty of exercise and loves spending time outdoors, lounging in the sun, and has a particular fondness for hoses and a farm/ranch environment. Daisy is currently on medication to help manage her anxiety, and she also crates easily after her daily adventures.

Ideal Home

Daisy would thrive in a home with lots of outdoor space where she can continue to soak up the sunshine. She needs an experienced and patient owner who understands her needs and is committed to helping her continue her training. Due to her past experiences, Daisy is not suited for a home with children. She also does best when fed separately from other dogs and people.

Ongoing Health

Daisy is currently on medication to help manage her anxiety.

Training & Support

Daisy is a severe resource guarder and has some anxiety. She has been working through training and has made progress. Patient handling is key, as she did bite her previous owner over an object. She needs a dedicated owner ready to continue her training and provide consistent support.
