Hooper

Super, Duper, Hooper! This sweet boy was found living on the streets with another dog named Mash. They had both been abandoned and left to fend for themselves until they were captured. Hooper was overwhelmed and very scared at the pound, but he's blossomed in his foster home! Hooper is a charming mix of Chihuahua and Terrier, about 4 years old, and weighs around 15 lbs. He enjoys the company of other dogs, adores his long walks, and loves to snuggle up in blankets like a cozy panini! Hooper has a flair for the dramatic and enjoys showing off by standing on his hind legs and giving high fives while dancing in circles. He's still a bit shy and would do best in a calm, gentle, and kind home with a patient guardian.

Hooper is healthy, neutered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on all his shots.

Training & Support

Hooper is house-trained. He is a bit shy and would benefit from a patient and understanding approach.

• Include a brief description of your home situation and the characteristics you're looking for in a dog companion.
• A "Sniff and Whiff" will be arranged.
• The adoption fee is $350 and covers all vaccines, micro-chip, deworming, spay/neuter, and rabies.
• Adoption requirements include an application, contract, home-check, and the adoption fee/donation.
• We are only considering Southern California residents.
