Kiya

Kiya is a beautiful, playful, and smart 9-week-old female Husky weighing around 10 lbs. She's a quick learner, already excelling at potty training and even knows a few tricks. Kiya is a champion at mealtime, patiently waiting for her food, and is comfortable napping in her crate. She loves to cuddle with her foster family and is a great companion for her doggy foster sibling. As she's teething, plenty of toys and chew bones are essential to keep her happy – otherwise, she might resort to chewing her own tail! This sweet and affectionate girl dislikes the heat and dreams of cooler climates where she can enjoy snow or fall leaves. She's looking for a loving family to continue her training and shower her with affection.

Ideal Home

Kiya would love a home in a cooler climate where she can enjoy snowy or crisp fall weather, rather than the Texas heat.

Ongoing Health

Kiya will not be spayed before transport but a commitment to spay her around one year of age will be part of her adoption contract.

Training & Support

Kiya is already doing well with potty training and knows basic commands. She's crate trained and enjoys napping in her crate. Because she is teething, she needs plenty of chew toys to keep her occupied.

Transportation

Kiya is currently located in South Texas and transportation to her adoptive home is available. Faith and Hope transports rescued pets to various states on the East and West Coast, including Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, and Virginia, with placement directly in adoptive families' homes.
