Rowan has the sweetest face, adorable floppy ears, and the kindest puppy-dog eyes you'll ever see. He's a gentle, quiet, and sensitive soul who prefers to observe new environments and people from a distance, taking his time to warm up. Once he feels safe and comfortable, he'll quietly settle by your side, offering the most peaceful and rewarding companionship. He's the perfect choice for someone who appreciates the quiet moments and enjoys earning a dog's trust.
Ideal Home
Rowan would thrive in a calm, quieter environment with patient people who understand his need for time to decompress. A home with a yard would be ideal, and he would likely do best without the hustle and bustle of busy apartment living. While he hasn't been officially tested with children, older, calm children would likely be the best fit, and we can certainly conduct a kid-test for interested adopters.
Ongoing Health
Rowan is a healthy boy and his adoption fee includes all vetting, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, and preventative care.
Training & Support
Rowan is a sensitive dog and needs time to build trust. He's not demanding of attention but will calmly exist by your side once he feels secure. He has shown to be respectful and easygoing with other dogs, though he's more of an observer than a playmate.

Transportation
Rowan is located in Texas and can be transported to various locations nationwide via our rescue's USDA certified transport system, which includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A transport surcharge of $87 applies. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
