Rico

Rico is an almost 2-year-old, 62 lb male Hound/Rottie mix with a heart full of hope and sweetness. He was sadly abandoned when his former family moved, but thankfully, neighbors and a loving foster family stepped in. Rico quickly bonded with his foster family and their resident dogs, showing a playful and affectionate side once he feels comfortable. He's a smart cookie, already potty and kennel trained, and walks like a gentleman on a leash. Indoors, he's a cozy couch potato, but outdoors, he's a ball-chasing, bubble-popping, romp-loving adventurer.

Ideal Home

Rico would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can safely explore and enjoy his outdoor playtime. He'd love a family to shower with devotion.

Ongoing Health

Rico has a bum rear leg that sometimes causes him to limp or sit in an unusual way. However, this doesn't seem to cause him pain or hinder his ability to have fun.

Training & Support

Rico is potty and kennel trained and walks well on a leash. He's not destructive with toys and is well-behaved indoors. He may need a little time to warm up to new people due to his past experiences.

Transporation

Rico is currently located in South Texas. He will be transported to his new adoptive family's home. We deliver to multiple states on the East and West Coast, including Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, and Maryland.
