Peluche, born around December 2018, is a big, bouncy bundle of love who lives up to his name — he’s basically a walking stuffed animal with a tail! Found wounded and alone on the streets of San Vicente, this brave boy has healed into a vibrant, energetic pup who’s ready to play, leap, and love with all his might. Peluche has been with us for so long, and during that time, he’s overcome more than most dogs ever face. He was diagnosed with TVT cancer affecting his neck and penis — but after a full course of chemotherapy and lots of TLC, his cytology report is now clean. Peluche is officially cancer-free! He currently lives in our outdoor shelter and will need a little help adjusting to indoor life — things like stairs, soft beds, and the rhythm of a home will be new to him. But with patience and love, he’ll settle in beautifully. He adores other dogs and turns every interaction into a joyful whirlwind of zoomies and goofy grins. He’s got a lot of energy and a big personality to match — watching him play is like witnessing a living cartoon come to life. He’s cuddly, intense, and absolutely unforgettable. Peluche is proof that resilience can be wrapped in fur and fueled by friendship.
