At 4 ½ years old, this gentle boy is a true cuddle bug, happiest when snuggled up next to his favorite people. Daquiri used to be the life of the party, a social butterfly who loved making friends. But after a tough experience with a larger dog, his confidence was shaken, and he’s been feeling shy and unsure around other pups ever since. Now, he’s searching for a patient and loving family—or a dedicated person—who will help him rediscover his courage and remind him what it feels like to be safe and confident again. With the right home, Daquiri is sure to blossom into the happy, playful dog he once was. He just needs someone to believe in him. Could that be you? Ongoing Health
All vetting is included in the adoption fee, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.
Training & Support
Daquiri is shy and unsure around other dogs due to a past negative experience. He will need continued training efforts and understanding to help him thrive. We provide socialization and basic command training, and our goal is to adopt to families who understand rescue dogs require ongoing support.

Transporation
Daquiri is located in Angleton, TX. He is available for transport to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Transport is available via comfortable, air-conditioned buses with dedicated care. Your Adoption Coordinator will help find the closest pick-up location.
