We think this handsome guy is a Lab mix, and at just 47 pounds, he is a perfectly portable medium package! He's compact enough to join you on all your errands but big enough to hold his own during a game of fetch. In his foster home, January has been a total star and an absolute joy to have around. He is learning all about the good life, including how to be a polite house guest and a brave traveler. He handles his car rides with curious eyes and is always ready to see where the next destination might be. He's a smart cookie who is eager to please, making him a dream to have in a home environment! When it comes to other dogs, January is a social butterfly! He has a playful spirit and would be best paired with a dog who has a similar "play hard, nap harder" energy level. He's great at reading vibes and loves having a furry friend to wrestle with before they both conk out for a group snooze session. January is a seasoned pro when it comes to living with other cats! January is a healthy boy and has received all appropriate vetting for his age, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and he is microchipped.

Training & Support

January is eager to please and a fast learner, making him a dream to have in a home environment. He has been working on polite house manners and brave travel, and his foster parents report he is doing a great job!

January is currently in Houston, Texas and can be transported to various drop-off locations nationwide, including WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page.
