Hondo is a 6-year-old, 85 lb Lab mix with a gentle soul and an easygoing nature. He's happiest just being near his people, whether that's on a nice walk, during a little playtime, or relaxing on the couch for a quiet night in. He's incredibly friendly, loves meeting new people, and has been a total star at adoption events. Hondo brings a steady, comforting presence that makes him an instant favorite wherever he goes. He's truly the definition of a "good dog" – calm, affectionate, and ready to be someone's loyal companion.

Ideal Home

Hondo would love a home where he can relax and be near his people. He has shown he is cat-friendly and loves female dog companions. He can be a bit selective with male dogs, so slow introductions and the right match are key. While he hasn't lived with kids yet, his gentle, laid-back personality suggests he could do well in the right home. Hondo prefers to enjoy his meals and favorite toys in his own space.

Training & Support

Hondo is fully potty trained and great on leash. He's calm, well-mannered, and trustworthy in the home. He doesn't require a crate, but he does fine if one is provided.
