Cash is a powerhouse of energy and joy, perfect for someone who craves the open trail, a daily runner’s high, or the quiet satisfaction of a long mountain hike. With his strong, athletic build and endless stamina, he's happiest logging long-distance adventures with his human. He’s not just a running buddy; he’s the kind who’ll carry his favorite chew bone to greet you at the door and then snuggle up close when the day is done. After a good walk or hike, Cash settles beautifully and is calm and relaxed in the house, but he's always ready for his next adventure at a moment’s notice!
Ideal Home
Johnny Cash would thrive in an active household that can keep up with his adventurous spirit. He is gentle and affectionate with children and has shown he can adapt his play style to different canine companions, but he has made it clear he is not a fan of French Bulldogs. Due to his strong prey drive, he cannot live in a home with cats or other small animals.

Training & Support
Johnny Cash is house-trained, obedience-trained, and knows commands such as sit, down, heel, and go to place. He thrives on structure and routine and is content being alone for up to six hours. He has a strong prey drive and cannot be trusted off leash under any circumstances, as he pulls toward squirrels and small dogs on walks. He must remain securely leashed at all times outdoors. He needs a guardian who understands and can confidently manage this behavior.
