Cash is ready for walks, naps, and a family to love!
Cash is a 2-year-old Blue Tick Coonhound mix, weighing about 65 lbs. He's a confident, social, and loving boy with a big heart and a goofy personality. Cash is the perfect blend of adventure buddy and couch nap partner, always eager for his next walk, game of fetch, or snack break. He makes fast friends, greeting everyone with a happy and eager attitude. While energetic and playful, he also knows how to relax and settle in for some downtime after exercise, making him an active best friend by day and a nap enthusiast by afternoon.
Ideal Home
Cash does well with children and enjoys being part of the action. While he enjoys the company of other dogs and could live with one after proper introductions, he would also thrive as someone's one-and-only adventure companion. He needs a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely explore and stretch his legs. No cats for this handsome guy due to his high prey drive.
Ongoing Health
Cash is mostly potty trained and crate trained, though he may whine a little at first when crated. He is learning his leash manners and can occasionally pull, but he is manageable with consistency and gentle guidance.
Training & Support
Cash responds well to positive reinforcement and enjoys learning when treats are involved. Because he is a smart, active hound with a high prey drive, Cash will need a home committed to structured exercise and continued training. An adopter who enjoys being active and wants a loyal, fun companion to share life with, someone who will provide guidance, consistency, and lots of love, would be ideal.
