Meet Angus: Your Future Gentle (and Slightly Chaotic) Giant!

Angus is a 6-month-old, 60+ lb Bullmastiff mix with a heart full of love and a body full of boundless puppy energy. He was found wandering near a local creek and, after being safely rescued, has been vetted and is now ready for his forever home. He's a big, goofy toddler still learning his own strength and how to navigate the world with his leash and mouth. He's eager to play with other dogs but is still mastering his manners. Angus is already doggie-door trained and enjoys car rides, though he needs to learn to be a more settled co-pilot!

Ideal Home

Angus would thrive in an active household with older children who can match his energy. A well-fenced yard is a must for his playtime and adventures. He is too energetic for feline friends.

Ongoing Health

Angus is healthy and ready for his new home. He has been neutered, is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines, is heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is current on flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite preventatives.

Training & Support

Angus is working on his leash manners, as he currently views the leash as a chew toy. He also needs continued patience to ensure he is 100% housebroken in a new environment. He will need a proper harness or crate restraint for car rides to prevent him from being a "co-pilot disruptor."

Transportation

Angus is located in Hico, Texas. Transport to approved adopters outside of Texas is available for an additional fee of $300, using trusted and reputable transport partners.
