Elvis

Elvis is a shy and sensitive soul who's learning to trust the world. He's estimated to be a little over a year old and is a miniature poodle mix with long legs who needs to gain a little weight. He came to us from a backyard breeder and was never socialized except with other dogs. Despite his rough start, he's a sweetheart who has allowed handling and has not attempted to bite.

Ideal Home

Elvis needs a patient and understanding home with a secure, escape-proof fenced yard. He will not do well without this, so it is a non-negotiable requirement. He is comfortable with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Elvis has received all his shots, a heartworm test, and is microchipped. He is scheduled for his neuter appointment next month. His vet believes he just needs to gain a little weight.

Training & Support

Elvis is still working on leash manners and will need a home that can help him learn to walk comfortably on a leash. He is very scared and a little shut down, so lots of patience and gentle encouragement will be key to his success.
