Carboncito

This is CARBONCITO, or "Little Charcoal"! He's a 5-month-old male pup, currently weighing in at 10 kgs. Carboncito's journey started rough; he was found in the middle of the street, struggling to breathe and suffering from malnutrition and a severe internal infection. As a result, he lost some fur from his chest, but it's slowly growing back. Despite his tough start, Carboncito has a sweet and playful personality. He loves to romp with other playful dogs and is also a hit with friendly cats and children in his foster home. He's a little shy when meeting new people, but his food motivation makes him easy to win over with treats!

Ideal Home

Carboncito would thrive in a home that can continue his positive reinforcement and provide him with lots of playtime. He enjoys the company of other playful dogs and friendly cats.

Ongoing Health

Carboncito is recovering from a past internal infection which caused some fur loss on his chest. His fur is growing back slowly.

Training & Support

Carboncito is still working on his potty training. He is good on the leash and enjoys car rides. His food motivation makes him a great candidate for continued training.

Transportation

Carboncito is located near Bucerias, Mexico. He can be transported to the US and Canada. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
