Tucker Teddy is an absolutely adorable, approximately 1-year-old Lab mix who checks all the boxes for a wonderful companion. With his "angel baby eyes," perpetual puppy face, and charming little "bubble lip," he's dangerously cute! He possesses a happy, lovable personality that perfectly complements his real-life cartoon puppy looks. He's a medium-energy dog who enjoys leaning in for pets, curling up beside you, and quietly following you from room to room, offering comforting affection without being overbearing.

Ideal Home

Tucker Teddy would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can safely play and explore. He would do best in a home without the overwhelm of busy apartment life. While he was gentle and calm with a 5-year-old child, he may do best in a home where children understand not to be overly boisterous. He is looking for a patient family that will allow him to settle in at his own pace and gently expose him to new experiences.

Training & Support

Tucker Teddy is still building confidence and learning about the world. The vacuum cleaner is currently a source of suspicion. Having another confident dog in the home would greatly help him continue to build his confidence. He has a good foundation and is eager to continue learning with the right family.

Transportation

Tucker Teddy is currently located in Texas. He can be transported nationwide through the rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A transportation surcharge of $87 applies. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
