SKIP (Handsome, Sweet, Playful, Active, Loves Water--SEE NEW VIDEO)

Meet Skip! This handsome and playful Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix is a bundle of joy, currently weighing 25 pounds and estimated to be around 4 months old. Skip had a rough start, found huddled under a pile of brush with his brothers after being abandoned. Thankfully, a kind couple rescued them and brought them to safety. Now, Skip is ready to find his forever family!

Skip is a sweet, loving, and loyal puppy who absolutely adores water. You’ll often find him happily splashing in his puppy pool or even snorkeling for leaves! While his coat is shorter and wavy, he has unique long legs and dew claws, which might suggest some Anatolian Shepherd or Great Pyrenees in his ancestry.

Ideal Home

Skip would thrive in an active home where he can join in on outings and adventures. He is already doing well with harness training and rides quietly and calmly in the car, making him an excellent travel companion. Being young, he would likely adjust well to living with a cat.

Ongoing Health

Skip is microchipped and up-to-date on his shots. He will be adopted with a neuter contract. The adopter will be financially responsible for his neuter surgery when he reaches the appropriate age, as determined by a veterinarian, and proof of the procedure will be required by Wags.

Training & Support

Skip is crate-trained and is still working on house training, but he's making great progress! He loves to chase balls and is learning to "sit." He also enjoys wrestling with his brother. With continued positive reinforcement and consistency, Skip will surely blossom into a well-behaved companion.
