Meet Sven, a charming 1-year-old, 37lb hound mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love! Sven is a true companion who thrives on being close to his people, whether it's playtime, snuggle time, or just quiet companionship. He's a social butterfly who gets along famously with other dogs, enjoying enthusiastic play with those who match his energy while also being respectful of their space. Sven walks calmly on leash and shows polite interest in other dogs without any reactivity. He's also proven to be cat-friendly, adjusting well to feline housemates after an initial cautious approach. Around the house, Sven is a breeze – he's fully house-trained, comfortable in a crate, and does well when left alone for short periods. He enjoys his daily exercise and settles nicely once he's had his fun. Sven’s absolute favorite things include toys, belly rubs, and being near his humans. He's incredibly affectionate, readily flopping over for pets, nudging in for cuddles, or perching nearby to keep an eye on things. He's also a smart observer of both people and animals, and will benefit from continued training in basic commands.
