Troubadour "Tru"

Meet Troubadour, or "Tru" as we fondly call him! This sweet mixed-breed boy is a testament to the power of love and resilience. When Tru first came to us, he was underweight and had spent too much time alone in a crate. But his spirit remained unbroken, and his love for people shines through. Tru has blossomed into a joyful, affectionate, and playful companion. He's about a year old and weighs around 60 lbs. While we're not sure of his exact breed mix, his puppy-dog eyes and goofy antics are sure to steal your heart! Tru thrives on human connection, soaking up every bit of affection and forming strong bonds. He enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those his size or smaller, and prefers companions who are neutered.

Ideal Home

Tru would love a home where he can be with his people and receive plenty of love and attention. He gets along with most dogs and prefers neutered companions. He is not fond of larger dogs or intact males.

Ongoing Health

Tru is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He is healthy and thriving.

Training & Support

Tru is making great progress with his house and crate training. He will be participating in the Paws in Prison program for 8 weeks, focusing on house training, basic obedience, and learning new tricks.

Transporation

Tru is located in Arkansas and is available to adopters there. Transport is also available to New England adopters, with pick-up or arrangements in PA, NJ, or CT on Saturdays.
