Laya

Laya is a spirited and energetic girl who's been dreaming of her forever family for over three years! She was found abandoned on the side of the road and has since been working diligently with our staff, making new friends, and learning valuable skills to navigate the world. Laya is ready for a life filled with fun and adventure, and she's looking for experienced dog owners to share it with. She'd be happiest as the only pet in the household, but she absolutely adores people and her favorite toys! Our staff has been dedicated to training Laya in leash walking, appropriate interactions with other animals, and curbing her enthusiasm for the mail carrier (though that last one is still a work in progress!).

Ideal Home

Laya would thrive in a home with experienced dog owners and would prefer to be the sole pet.

Ongoing Health

Laya is an energetic girl whose grey hairs are beginning to show, but she remains as sprightly as ever!

Training & Support

Laya is still learning and has some areas to work on, including leash manners and her vocalizations towards the mailman. Our staff is eager to help you support Laya in her continued learning journey.
