Rufus

Rufus is a roughly 1.8-year-old mixed-breed mystery, likely with Lab and Cattle Dog in his lineage, but 100% sweetness! He was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas just in time and is now looking for his forever home. Rufus has a sturdy frame, soulful eyes, and a gentle heart. He is kind and social with other dogs of all sizes and has shown no aggression towards farm animals, even enjoying gentle interactions with pigs. He's a joy on leash, calm, attentive, and eager to please. Rufus is a true lovebug, always ready with kisses and happy to lean into his people for affection.

Rufus is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He is heartworm positive but has already started slow-kill treatment.

Training & Support

Rufus is wonderful on a leash and eager to please. He is generally non-aggressive and incredibly sweet.
