ZAZU is a wonderfully adaptable companion who enjoys being with people and other dogs, but is also content to entertain himself or rest quietly.

Ongoing Health

All vetting is up to date, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, as well as flea and heartworm prevention and testing. He has also been spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

ZAZU is a pro on the leash and is well-socialized with other dogs. He is patient and sweet during grooming. Like any rescue dog, continued training and understanding will help him continue to be the best dog he can be.

Transporation

ZAZU is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. He will be transported via a USDA licensed semi-truck equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and two onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. For East Coast adoptions, transport will be in a private, air-conditioned 3LP-run van. You will be able to follow along on his journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you. He can also be picked up at our Angleton, TX location.
