Meet WintersRun Siberians. In my professional life, I am a biology professor with a PhD in evolutionary genetics. Breeding Siberian Huskies allows us to combine that scientific background with our deep passion for the breed, continually challenging us to make thoughtful, informed decisions in pursuit of healthy, sound, and exceptional puppies. Our dogs are active participants in both conformation and mushing sports, including dryland and snow events. Our breeding program is dedicated to preserving correct breed type, sound structure, genetic health, temperament, and working ability. Each litter is carefully planned to move us closer to those goals, and we place our puppies with people who share our commitment to and appreciation for the Siberian Husky. All of our dogs are fully health tested including annual eye exams with an ophthalmologist, Pennhip/OFA hip testing, and full DNA testing.
