Meet Tunisia, a sweet and shy girl with a heart of gold just waiting for her forever family! This petite 48-pound pup has been in a foster home since November 2023, and she's eager to blossom in a loving environment. Tunisia is crate and potty trained. While she might be a little timid at first, once she feels safe and comfortable, she transforms into a loyal snuggle bug who absolutely adores her chosen people. She's not unfriendly, just unsure, and a few gentle introductions will help her learn to trust and relax.

Ideal Home

Tunisia thrives in a home with other dogs and would benefit greatly from a confident canine companion to help her continue building trust. She plays well with her foster sibling and finds comfort in having a buddy by her side. Tunisia does best in a calm, patient home where new people don't overwhelm her. She's perfectly happy hanging out in another room with a chew toy when visitors come by.

Training & Support

Tunisia is still working on fully relaxing in a home and adjusting to time alone, but she's making steady progress. With continued love, structure, and a bit of exercise, Tunisia has all the makings of a devoted and affectionate best friend. She just needs someone to take it slow and show her that she's finally home. Her foster has noted that she may have counter-surfing and jumping habits that can be curbed with training.
