Groot is quite the character! He’s a 45-pound, long-legged bundle of joy who believes he holds several important positions in his household, including Head of the Welcome Committee and Self-Appointed Assistant Manager. He's a natural supervisor, always eager to join in on whatever you're doing, from making breakfast to checking the mail. Groot is an expert backyard explorer, quality control specialist, and morale officer, all rolled into one. His enormous ears are a marvel, capable of picking up sounds from miles away, and he often gives you a look that says, "Don't worry, I've got this." He loves to investigate the outdoors, ensuring all squirrels are following neighborhood regulations, but he can quickly abandon his serious demeanor for a burst of energetic zoomies, especially when another dog is involved.
Ideal Home
Groot absolutely adores other dogs and truly shines when he has a canine companion to play, explore, and snuggle with. We would love to see him in a home with another playful dog. Given his enthusiastic nature, homes with children 10 years and older are recommended to ensure the best fit for everyone.

Training & Support
Groot is a well-mannered pup! He is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and already knows commands such as sit, lay down, give paw, "go eat," "go outside," and "go for a walk."
