Maple

Maple is the definition of a gentle girl with the sweetest soul. This beautiful girl is full of love and is happiest when she's by your side. Whether she's giving gentle kisses, leaning into you for comfort, or soaking up a good butt scratch, Maple has a way of making everyone she meets fall in love. For a young dog, Maple is incredibly well-mannered. She's currently learning her basic commands, but you'd never know she was still in training because she naturally sits politely, has wonderful manners, and genuinely wants to make her people happy. She's highly food-motivated, making training both fun and rewarding! While Maple can be a little timid when faced with something new, she's also incredibly brave. She doesn't let fear stop her. Instead, she'll lean against you, stand between your legs, or look to you for reassurance before confidently taking on whatever comes next-with her tail happily wagging the whole time. Maple absolutely loves other dogs! She enjoys running, playing, and getting the zoomies around the yard. One of the sweetest things about her is how polite she is with canine friends-she'll often lay flat on the ground before playtime, letting the other dog decide when they're ready to engage. When the fun begins, she loves to "box" with her front paws and race around the yard, always keeping play friendly and respectful. She's also wonderfully gentle with people. She enjoys a little playful roughhousing but is always kind and affectionate. Despite her size, Maple still believes she's a lap dog and simply wants to be wherever her family is. If you're busy around the house, she'll happily find a cozy spot nearby or entertain herself with a toy while keeping you company. Maple has the cutest little quirks that will make you smile every day. When she's especially happy, she'll burst into zoomies before coming back to give you a special kiss. She also loves to stretch dramatically-spreading her toes as far as they can go-and will gently nudge you to make sure you're watching her show off! Outside is one of Maple's favorite places to be. She loves lounging in the shade, nibbling on fresh grass, and simply enjoying the fresh air. Inside the home, Maple is wonderfully quiet. She rarely barks, settles beautifully in her kennel at bedtime, and is content to sleep through the night. The most you'll usually hear is an occasional little whine. Outside, however, she's happy to let everyone know she's watching over her family, barking at strangers outside the fence to make sure her loved ones stay safe. Maple is truly a giant teddy bear with a heart of gold. She's affectionate, loyal, playful, and eager to please. If you're looking for a loving companion who will make you laugh, keep you company, and love you with her whole heart, Maple just might be your perfect match.

Ideal Home

Maple loves other dogs and enjoys playing with them. She is also gentle with people and enjoys playful roughhousing. She is happy to be wherever her family is and will keep them company while they are busy around the house. She enjoys lounging outside and nibbling on fresh grass.

Training & Support

Maple is learning her basic commands but naturally has wonderful manners and is eager to please. She is food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. While she can be timid when faced with something new, she looks to her people for reassurance and will confidently take on challenges. She is quiet inside the home and settles well in her kennel, but she will bark outside at strangers to protect her family.
