Paddy is a charming 1-year-old Dachshund/Bull Terrier mix, also known as a "bull-weenie," who was born into rescue! This playful and affectionate boy weighs 23 lbs and is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Paddy can be a little shy when he first meets new people, but he warms up quickly and loves to play outdoors. He does wonderfully with other dogs and children, making him a great potential addition to many families. Paddy is semi-housebroken and crate trained, so he's well on his way to being a perfect companion.
Ideal Home
Paddy would thrive in a home that can offer him plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and socialization. His gentle nature makes him a good fit for families with children and other dogs.
Ongoing Health
Paddy is heartworm negative. His adoption fee includes his spay/neuter surgery (if applicable), rabies, bordetella, DHPP vaccinations, and microchip.
Training & Support
Paddy is semi-housebroken and crate trained. Continued positive reinforcement and patience will help him continue to learn and settle into his new home.

Transportation
Paddy is located in McAllen, Texas. He can be transported to your area with a completed adoption. Transport is mainly available to the East Coast, serving areas primarily in NJ, NY, PA, and CT. Drop-off locations for MA, NH, ME, VT, and RI are in various cities in Connecticut, including Old Saybrooke, New Haven, Danbury, Dayville, Hartford, and Fairfield, depending on the transport route. Stops in Providence, RI, and Brattleboro, VT are available when possible. There are no meet and greets.
