Kelsie’s story didn’t start the way any dog’s should. Her early life was marked by cruelty and hardship—but she never let that define her. Today, Kelsie is a gentle, loving soul who’s rediscovered joy in belly rubs, playtime, and quiet companionship. She’s sweet, caring, and has a playful spark that lights up when she’s with people she trusts. She’s done beautifully with the dogs she’s met so far, showing kindness and curiosity. We’re not sure how she feels about cats just yet, but we’re happy to explore that with potential adopters. What we do know is that Kelsie is ready for a fresh chapter—one filled with love, patience, and the kind of care she’s always deserved.

Ongoing Health

Kelsie is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. She also receives monthly heartworm medication.
