Archie

Archie is a charming 3-year-old Harrier/Hound mix, weighing around 50 pounds, who's on the lookout for his forever home! He's a social butterfly who absolutely adores people and is already a pro at being a doggy diplomat, having served as our shelter's official dog tester. Archie gets along famously with other dogs of all sizes and is great with kids and adults. He's also a fantastic walking companion and is eager to please, especially when belly rubs and paw massages are involved. When he's not out exploring, you can find him snuggled up on a comfy, pillow-laden sofa.

Ideal Home

Archie would thrive in an active home that can keep up with his energy. While he can be an only pet, he'd likely do best with a canine sibling to share his days with. A securely fenced yard is a must, as Archie is a skilled climber and needs a fence that is 4 feet or higher to keep him safe.

Ongoing Health

Archie is up to date on his vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Archie is potty trained and walks well on a leash. He's eager to learn and would love a family to continue his training and showering him with affection.
