Dexter U 26063

Dexter is a sweet, snuggly, and playful Cocker Spaniel mix who is eager to please and sleeps through the night. He settles down very well in his kennel and is doing great with the training he's received so far, showing he's a very teachable boy! Dexter is somewhere between high energy and couch potato; he does calm down and relax with other dogs. He knows "sit" and is learning to wait for entry/exit and for his food.

Ideal Home

Dexter would likely do well in a home that can offer him a canine companion.

Dexter will have another vet visit before his adoption is finalized.

Training & Support

Dexter has been observed lifting his leg to mark, though not frequently. He is currently using belly bands. He is perfectly potty trained when outside. Dexter sometimes humps our puppy when aggravated and can become reactive with other dogs. He also exhibits resource guarding behavior with toys and food, but he quickly learns to sit and wait when prompted.
