About Lola Loop de Loop

Lola is the canine equivalent of a clown car – packed to the brim with fun! Imagine cartoonish features, four squeaky toys, a bouncy ball, a crinkle toy, and a pogo stick all rolled into one adorable 20lb package. That's Lola! She's estimated to be around a year old and has a striking resemblance to a pug/boxer mix, though we can't guarantee her breed due to rescue rules. What we can guarantee is a daily dose of comedy, athleticism, and an enthusiasm that rivals a sugar-fueled kid on a carnival ride.

Lola is wildly entertaining and genuinely a happy dog. She lives for fetch, although her return skills are still a work in progress – sometimes she gets so excited by the toy, she forgets who threw it! She thrives with playful dogs who enjoy chase games, wrestling, and rough-and-tumble fun. She's a true toy enthusiast, content to entertain herself, and wakes up every day ready for recess!

Ideal Home

Lola would thrive with someone who enjoys training and wants an active, engaged companion. She's perfect for an adventure buddy, hiking pal, training class enthusiast, and enrichment queen. She'll blossom in a home that's committed to engaging her brain and body. Lola handles environmental stressors well, recovers quickly, and remains social and confident with people. She's loving, goofy, resilient, and always game for the next adventure.

Lola's dream home includes an equally playful dog who enjoys chase, shares toys, and likes playful wrestling. She would prefer a home without cats and must have a yard – this girl needs room to run! If you have more than one playmate for her, they should be sturdy, playful dogs over 25 lbs, enjoy physical play, have good tolerance levels, and know how to take breaks. She's not a fan of apartment living.

Training & Support

Because Lola is young and energetic, she will benefit from a structured home committed to helping her learn "dog-well." She is learning to settle in the home and will need encouragement to slow down her busy brain in exciting environments. The good news is she responds well to guidance and appropriate corrections.
