Apollo

Apollo, a 60 lb., 16-month-old, Rottweiler (?) mix, is ready to romp his way into your heart! If you prefer dogs in size XL, who take up the whole couch during a football game—the kind of happy-go-lucky, rough and tumble dog whose ears flap like small wings chasing a ball, then perhaps you should schedule a time to meet Apollo. Apollo is "air tight" housetrained and neutered, and up to date on vaccines. Apollo came to us as a stray, so there are some things we don’t know about his history. Apollo has never shown an ounce of aggression towards other dogs. For lack of training, he does play a little rough, but he’s so sweet he will drop a ball from his mouth and tap it through the fence so that a dog on the other side can play with it. His best friend is Haven, a 50 lb., female Hound mix, who loves racing around the yard with him. If you’re looking for an action and adventure hero disguised as a Big Dog, Apollo would love to meet you.

Ideal Home

Apollo would thrive in a home without small children. He would also love a large, fenced yard for some safe, vigorous daily exercise.

Ongoing Health

Apollo is up to date on vaccines and neutered.

Training & Support

Apollo sometimes plays a little rough due to lack of training. He needs a strong arm to walk him on leash.
