Maple

Maple is a very sweet girl who loves people and does well with other dogs. She came to us as a stray and, shortly after arriving, gave birth to 11 adorable puppies! Maple was a fantastic mom, and now that her puppies are grown and ready for their own adventures, it's time for this lovely lady to find her forever home.

Ideal Home

Maple would thrive in a home where she can be close to her human companions as much as possible. She's not a fan of crates and can experience some separation anxiety. The ideal environment would be a home where someone works from home, is retired, or can bring Maple along to work.

Ongoing Health

Maple tested positive for heartworm but has completed her treatment. While she didn't fully convert, she is currently on topical Advantage Multi as recommended by her vet. Rescue will continue to cover her heartworm treatment expenses until she is cleared.

Training & Support

Maple is not a fan of her crate and does not like being confined. She is not destructive outside of the crate, but her separation anxiety means she prefers not to be left alone for extended periods. A patient and understanding adopter will be key to her continued success.
