Kay Kay

Meet Kay Kay! This young female Kelpie mix is around 25-30 pounds of pure bounce, energy, and love. She earned her nickname "Kangaroo Kevin" because she literally jumps and bounces off her foster mom like a little kangaroo! Kay Kay is a bundle of fun and would be perfect for agility training. She loves playing with her dog friends, zooming around the backyard, and chewing on her Benebone. She's happiest and most confident when she has a backyard to run in and another dog to play with. While she's comfortable in her home, she can still be a little nervous walking on a leash in busy public places, so she'll need a patient adopter who can help her build confidence.

Ideal Home

Kay Kay would thrive in a home with a large, fenced backyard and another playful dog. She is not recommended for homes with young children as she is a herding breed and still learning boundaries.

Ongoing Health

Kay Kay recently completed her heartworm injections and is up-to-date on all vetting. She will arrive spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and microchipped.

Training & Support

Kay Kay is house trained and kennel trained. She can be a little nervous on leash in busy public places and will need a patient adopter to help her build confidence.

Transporation

Kay Kay is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. Virtual meet-and-greets are available, and transport can be arranged to many states in the Northeast. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks.
