Meet JoJo! This special girl was found as a stray in AR pregnant with 12 babies. After caring for her large litter, JoJo and her pups made their way to STL. She lovingly cared for all her babies, and now that they've all found their forever homes, she's focusing on her health and socialization!
JoJo can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once she warms up, she's a loyal friend for life. The fastest way to her heart? Another dog getting attention! JoJo has a serious case of FOMO and will nudge her way into your good graces for pets. She's incredibly snuggly and loves to be close to her people, often rolling onto her back and pawing for affection.
JoJo adores the backyard and has a keen interest in hunting birds, rabbits, and squirrels. She's a barker, especially towards the neighbors, and it can be a challenge to get her inside on a nice day. However, she's also happy to come in if it means more pets and love! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and loves to run, wrestle, and play. She would truly thrive in a home with another playful dog who can help her build confidence in her new surroundings.
JoJo is super loyal and wants to be wherever you are. Building that initial bond took time, and she'll need a patient adopter who is willing to let her build trust at her own pace. Once bonded, she'll be your most devoted companion. She's a perfect size at around 40 lbs with an athletic build and would be a wonderful addition to any family patient enough to help her blossom.
