Kelso

Kelso's story is a tough one. He was adopted as a puppy, and what we thought was a happy foster fail turned heartbreaking when he was abandoned at a veterinary clinic just before Christmas. We were immediately there to bring him back into safety.

Despite his past, Kelso is truly an amazing dog. He has a history of living successfully with young children, other dogs, and even chickens! He's house-trained and kennel-trained, walks beautifully on leash, and has an easygoing nature. Kelso truly loves everyone he meets, knows his basic commands, and is a joy to have around. He enjoys walks, relaxing indoors or outdoors, and most of all, being with his people. Kelso isn't demanding; he simply longs for a loving family who will make a lifelong promise to him.

Ideal Home

Kelso would love a family that will cherish him and never abandon him again. He has a proven track record of doing well with children and other animals, including chickens.

Ongoing Health

Kelso has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Kelso is house-trained and kennel-trained and walks beautifully on a leash. He knows his basic commands and is described as easygoing.
