Hi there, I'm Phoenix! I'm a handsome and healthy 10-year-old Rottie-Dobie mix looking for a loving foster or forever home. I lost my previous foster home through no fault of my own, and I really miss having people around to snuggle with and take me on walks and other outings. I was rescued from a shelter a few years ago, where I was a big hit with everyone! I weigh about 80 lbs. Despite my age, I'm still active and incredibly loving. I'll do great with an active person or people who enjoy walks and hikes. I'm affectionate, walk well on a leash, and I'm a loyal and sweet companion who will be your best friend for life. I do prefer to have my person or people around, but that's pretty typical for most dogs! I'm not a barker unless it's warranted. I can also be a bit protective of my people and our property, which can be a good thing. I get along well with other dogs, especially females, and I absolutely love human attention – I'm warm and caring. I'd do well with a strong owner.
