Grizzly

Grizzly is an 8-year-old distinguished gentleman with a heart of gold. When he first arrived, the human world seemed scary and suspicious, and he put up a tough exterior to protect himself. But Grizzly has been making incredible progress every single day and is proving to be a brave soul. He is a dog of many words, and sometimes those words sound like a growl or a bark. This is his way of saying, "I am scared right now, and I just need a minute." He is incredibly expressive and uses his voice to communicate his boundaries as he navigates his new life. Once Grizzly feels safe and realizes he is out of harm's way, his suspicious guard drops, and his true colors shine through. Beneath that rugged outer shell lies a curious, playful, and deeply affectionate pup. He is full of personality and ready to find a patient forever home that will give him the time and space he needs to blossom. He might even show you his praying hands!

Ideal Home

Grizzly would do best in a quieter home without children. He has done well with dogs his size and cats.

Grizzly has some vision issues due to his age.
