Queso

They call me Queso because I’m cheesy, and I’m ready to steal your heart! I’m a one-year-old Cane Corso–Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with a heart as big as my paws. This stunning boy has the perfect blend of strength, sweetness, and loyalty: a gentle soul wrapped in an athletic body. I get along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, big or small, I’m happy to make friends! At just a year old, I’m full of youthful energy and love to run, play, and explore, whether that’s hiking a trail or romping in the yard. But don’t be fooled, I also have a cozy, snuggly side. After a good adventure, I’m perfectly content to curl up on the couch for a movie marathon. I can be a little reserved with new people at first, but once I know you’re a friend, I open up quickly and become incredibly affectionate. I’m also naturally protective of the people I love—a loyal companion through and through. I weigh 97 pounds.

Ideal Home

A family with kids over the age of 10 and breed experience will suit me best. I’m looking for a home that will give me plenty of exercise, companionship, and love.

I am neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

I’m naturally protective, so I’ll need guidance as I learn to trust new people. With the right person or family, this handsome boy will make an amazing lifelong best friend.
